McKenney’s collaborated with JE Dunn Construction on the renovation and expansion of Piedmont Mountainside, a 62-bed facility located in the North Georgia mountains. The hospital offers comprehensive services including cardiac rehabilitation, imaging, orthopedic services, cardiac catheterization, intensive care, and 24-hour emergency services.

The project scope included a two-level expansion covering 14,700 square feet and a renovation of 2,035 square feet within the existing critical care step-down unit. The expansion added 12 new patient rooms on Level 1 and created shell space on Level 0. Additionally, renovations were carried out on two existing patient rooms, and a new lounge and consult room were constructed.
